About This Blog

As parents and supporters of the Khalsa Secondary Academy we have found it enormously difficult in having our voice heard amongst the commotion and activity in opposition to the school.

We fully understand there is resentment, anger and a high level of emotion amongst some residents. Many of you reading this may wonder who are these people looking to set up a school in our village, why are they doing this, what are their reasons and do they actually have a valid case?

Some of you may agree with the concept of the school but not the fact it is looking to be permanently located in South Bucks. Through our upcoming posts we will be looking to address such concerns and misconceptions.

While we don't anticipate the key stakeholders will not back down in the campaign against the school establishing itself in Stoke Poges, we do hope that our posts will help you understand more about who we are, what we stand for and why we believe there is a case for having our school situated in South Bucks.

Over the last few months some of our parents have attempted to converse with some local residents who are active on social media and found they were made to feel victimised.

We are sure these examples are coming from a very small minority of the local community and are confident that a majority are perfectly reasonable and normal people.

In any case, for now, to encourage participation our authors / contributors have chosen to remain anonymous.

We would welcome feedback, questions and suggestions on how we can perhaps work together positively to achieve any common objective, for example addressing the transport issue or any way we can help with traffic flow.
